To all you sheep still chasing past the gate,
In search of greener fields that lie afar.
I've made the trek, have faced a foreign fate,
But learned that dreams abroad leave a scar.
Decide what things your heart cannot let go,
For every land bears flaws beneath its skin.
When you have seen and truly come to know,
You’ll find no better shores than those within.
For South Africa still holds the richest skies,
With beauty, warmth and sunsets, bold and wide.
So don’t let false allure make you despise,
The home where love and legacy reside.
Stay, and help raise our nation from the dust,
Not chase the wind and lose your hope and trust.
