My DIY Hero

I’ve been blessed with a DIY husband,
Who can fix anything that is broken.
Whether it’s a leak, a glitch or a crack,
Fixing things is his talent and passion.

No gadget or toy is ever thrown to the bin,
For it’s repaired each time that it breaks.
He diligently, painstakingly learns how to,
And impresses me at the speed that he takes.

There’s no item he cannot fix or restore,
No challenge he will pay to have done.
Whether it’s electrical, mechanical or construction,
He’ll persevere with it until he has won.

For my hubby is my DIY hero,
Though it would often be nice to replace.
I’m grateful for his God-given talents,
So, his service to fix, I’ll gladly embrace.
