Life is like a Flight

Life is like a flight,

Onboard a Jumbo Jet.

You can travel with delight,

Or you can live with fear and fret.

When you trust in God as Captain,

You will reach your journey’s end.

With a life that is well-traveled,

And many to call a friend.

There will be times of turbulence,

That may steer you off your course.

But when you fly above the clouds,

God’s peace can be your source.

If you wear your faith’s seat-belt,

It will help to keep you steady.

Use your Bible for instruction,

So in emergencies, you’ll be ready.

Which passport do you hold?

Is it still valid and in order?

Did you get the necessary visa,

In order to cross this life’s border?

As you travel between lifes many airports,

Have you chosen the right airline?

Can you trust the Pilot at the helm?

Or are you just wasting away your time?

For life’s journey is most important,

To reach life’s paradise.

If your flight is delayed or cancelled,

Your life would have been your sacrifice.

So when you reach life’s final runway,

May Heaven be its destination.

For in life there’s many ways to live,

As I compare it here to aviation.
